2 of my 2018 Silverado trucks have had the transfer case stop shifting in the rain, is there some kind of grease that you can fill a connector with & or spray the outside with now & then ?? Silicone spray ?? The dealer said 3 times after it dries it works for us .. so nothing to fix .. too bad for you !! 1 truck only had 2 wheel drive , the other truck only had 4 wheel drive . Thanks !!

Was just doing a wiring job and couldn't fathom which way round the rubber seals go.

Won't the seals get damaged if you are effectively crimping metal into them?

Thank you so much. I just got the 6 pin version of this and was totally in the dark. Fiddly indeed. I'm tempted to use wire nuts instead and put a picture frame around these little beauties and hang them on my wall..

Very useful post for these fiddly connectors. Which side is usually considered the socket and wired to the battery? Is it the female connector as usual?
