Great video. Very thorough. If I may offer some advice.

At 2:04, you describe Critical Updates as updates that "could allow a worm to be spread through your environment". This is not accurate. Critical Updates are not related to security at all. Microsoft defines Critical updates as "a widely released fix for a specific problem that addresses a critical, non-security-related bug".

Also, at 4:10 and throughout the second half of your video, you approve every Windows 10 update, many of which include several updates for Language Packs. Unless you have Language Packs deployed for all of these languages (which is highly unlikely), they should not be approved. Approving all of those extraneous updates is only going to increase your WSUS catalog size and increase the memory overhead required for clients to scan against that catalog. You should only approve the updates that are applicable to your environment.

But great content and delivery. Keep 'em coming.

Hi @server academy... I have a problem that i hope you can push me in the right direction. when i approve updates, it doesn't install at the right time (time configured on my GPO). I checked the time on the computer, i checked the GPO but it's just not doing right. For example, i approved for monday night: from 6PM - 7AM. I get on the client computer on tuesday, and it's trying update during working hours.

Hi guys...I’m having a bit of an issue and was hoping someone could assist. After an in-place upgrade from server 2008 r2 to 2012 r2 the server reports to WSUS and no updates are being pushed to the server. Please help.

Hi, Some approves are superseded by another approve. If we approve them all, it will download all these patches and will occupy to much space in our storage. How can we know which one is the latest one or the correct one to approve?

All you did was manually tell clients to download a hell of a lot of language packs. Waste of disk space with no automation.
