Boosted Board Dual + VS Melonboard Gen 2

I have a melon board, so naturally I would choose boosted. The reason is the smooth and well thought out all aspects of the board, with fail-safes and a smooth throttle and the melon boards breaks SUCK!! The boosted board is more confidence inspiring. If I had to choose I would spend a little more on a used boosted board.

I'm shocked at the attention this video got however pleased! i am in this video, the owner of the boosted board and this here is my channel where you can see me fully enjoying with no complaints by boosted board and how i use it to get around my town and school and life. I do not prefer the melon board, and that is my honest opinion, especially after just how much the boosted has performed for me. I am a film major trying to be a you tuber, i have a boosted board and thought id show my love for boosted and film in this video with my friend kaden as we were given an opportunity to really use the melon board lent to us from our friend with the company. They made a great analogy using a car comparison but I'd take it a step further, it truly is comparing a Ferrari to a Hyundai. Yes, they will both absolutely get you from point A to point B, and yes, the battery range on the Melon Board dominates the boosted board. However, Melon Board will always be at the mechanic for service, Boosted Board will not. I have both and am speaking only from experience. Upon getting the Melon Board, the remote didn't work, over time (around one month of use) the brakes started making an awful grinding sound until, while braking one day, either the gear or the belt completely stripped out and I couldn't stop. After that, I threw the board in my garage, and refused to ride that death trap anymore. There is an absolute reason the Boosted Board is $1500- You are paying for QUALITY! Not some imported garbage (did I mention the instruction manual wasnt even branded as "Melon Board"?.. The boosted board does has some flaws and is NOT perfect by any means - for instance I lost connectivity from the remote to the board while going down hill, fell off the board and broke my rib, and I STILL would take a boosted board any day over a Melon Board.

when will the melon 2 be available for sale. i keep having viewers ask but I don't like to review them until the boards are readily available to be but just in case somebody is interested in buying one there's nothing worse than turning someone on and then them not being able to get it

I bought both these boards. I bought the melon first and it broke within 3 days of getting it. Got it back after it was fixed and it while I was riding it and when I went to break it full on stopped no movement in the wheel whats so ever and I fell and seriously hurt my foot when I landed. That was when I decided to return it. No safe at all. Ordered the boosted board next day and it was so much better. Better response high quality remote not made a from old plastic wii remote like the melon and just overall better quality. The breaks were the best part it slowed down and you felt so much safer because you can tell it just higher quality. Melon board is made in China its cheap. Boosted board on the other hand is made in California with the highest quality possible.

I promise you please do not get the melon board it is so dangerous. If you want to invest in a electric skateboard go with boosted please. I don't want to hear about someone getting hurt. It is not safe, its cheap and breaks really easily.

I would support melon... except you guys just rebranded a Chinese board. don't get me wrong it's not a bad board. in the beginning, then the board just kind of falls apart, I have had a lectric board for like 3 months and I do the regular maintenance such as clean ect... yet it is still falling apart and I constantly run into problems and it is the same board as melon. what bugs me the most is that you just slapped a sticker on a board and called it yours. boosted didn't do that... yes they partnered with loaded. but that's just the thing they (partnered) not take and they have crazy high quality. now maybe you want to spend 700$ on a board that will only last you a year if not less but that is your choice, don't let the range of boosted sway you away... it is an amazing board especially since you can just take your charger and charge it up completely in an hour if not less, and up to 85% in 30 min
but I do see what people mean when they say it is expensive but it lasts. unlike lectric or melon
