Boosted Board 2nd Gen vs 3rd Gen | WATCH BEFORE BUYING!

I just bought a Boosted Board! I spent hours and hours researching which is the better board the v2 or the new Boosted Board Plus. Should you buy a Boosted Board V2 (2nd gen) or a new Boosted Board V3? This video will help you decide which Boosted Board to buy! I do a review of the top speed, top range and general specs of the Boosted Board v2 dual + extended range battery board and the new Boosted Board Plus 3rd gen. I'll give you my thoughts on the advantages and disadvantages of the new Boosted Board Plus 3rd gen. Is it worth the money? Or should you instead buy a used Boosted Board v2? Hopefully this video helps you decide which Boosted Board will fit your needs best!

Almost bought a BB 3rd generation brand new from their website. The boards are actually not available currently. Turned out to be a good thing because I really wanted the 2nd generation V2 Loaded Board. Got an awesome deal on one from a HIGHLY motivated seller for $600!! I couldn't be happier!

Good choice! I just bought a used Boosted V2 Dual+ with only 21(!) miles on it for $800 (in Sweden) Not with the extended range battery though.

I was thinking about buying a used second Gen. My only worry is will they still service me with a hand me down board. You're making want to buy a used one.

Do mind that you purchased a used vehicle which in the market of used vehicles, depreciation shows significantly in the price. For a used v2 dual plus, that price is completely normal. Don’t forget a brand new v2 dual plus costs 1500$. If I’ve not mistaken I think you didn’t mention the new trucks they put on the v3, they’re much more durable and so is the deck. It most definitely doesn’t feel like the Loaded Vanguard but I wouldn’t expect a poplar core deck to perform the same since the intention of boosted was to make it more durable. Also I have noticed that “it’s not worth it to pay 300~400$ more for JUST bigger wheels and a different deck” has been brought up multiple times in the video. You are not paying 300~400$ more for JUST bigger wheels, you are paying 300~400$ more for a “brand new” vehicle. I do appreciate you keep mentioning those are used prices that you’re using but just like cars you just can’t really compare a used car price to a new one. Also the picture comparison that you included which was supposed to show a boosted V2, you showed a picture of a v1 instead. I think there’s a slight lack of research. But to each their own I guess:)

Stealth extended battery range ✅ 24mph✅ Blacked out ✅ overall looks 👍✅ flexible like the loaded? 👍✅ the price is what fucks it up 1599.00 after taxes 1789.99 😱💰🤦‍♂️ that’s the problem I am having do I want the v2 extended range that only goes 22 miles an hour do I want to pay a little more and get the stealth new ? Oh yeah and BTW I really hate that they’re making the parts in house now loaded is a trusted manufacture and knows what they’re doing and the same for the wheels I wish they would just kept everything the same the deck in the wheels and just made it go faster like 24 miles an hour because on the stealth the trucks feel cheap but on the v2 They feel more solid made ! I wish I could just get a V2 and Mickey go 24 miles an hour ! But keep all the old-school hardware like the lower deck in the original wheels !

Yeah, I definitely didn’t feel a ton of need to upgrade when the 3rd gens came out. It seems like the most compelling one is the mini X, just so it’s a little easier to throw around and bring inside for errands. With that said I tried one out for a few moments last week and the deck felt rock hard. Not sure if that’s something I’d get used to or not.

the v3 deck is also wider and more flexible than the v2. Bigger weels and a wider, more flexible deck make a BIG difference in riding expierience. (especially when youre going 22mph)

@rianspaulding we love you in the skating world for this my man! Loaded and Orangatang are top notch hardware distributors, Loaded (obviously) having board construction into the play. Boosted sells a pair of wheels for $160 online when I could go grab some Sector 9 Downhill Division 72- 88mm polyurethanes for about $100-$120. Far more superior wheel that really activates at high speeds and starts chewing up the pavement when digging in for those chunky carves. You the man for this! Solid review! Ride on!

i'm crying until know to buy a stealth, because no choice, nearly impossible to find V2 in eu, very rare!! whe pay a lot of money for boosted services, engeenering + The high quality of loaded deck and the TOP quality for Otang ;)
Now no loaded, no otang, the battery is the same, the support is terrible since the board must be cheaper than the v2! ??? no they sell it the same price, more expensive, when the board is cheaper to make "no royalties, patents"! Ty New CEO!
If the old boosted, Old ceo sanjay spirit is not coming back Fast, the stealth will be my first and last Boosted board!

I know the boosted v2 boards have a truck issue depending on how you ride. A few people have reported snapped trucks in the subreddit on their v2 models. I just got a used v2 so I’m somewhat concerned about it.

I just ordered a Boosted Plus last week and so I've been watching a lot of videos and ran into this one. Dude, I have to say, this is a quality video! Love the way you edited and pieced everything together. There was a sense of focus as well as a direction to this video for the entire duration!
