Summary of my post-op recovery story from my 2 level cervical disc replacement. After 2 days, the soreness has set in and things are feeling strange. Luckily, nothing was too terrible. I was able to eat, swallow, talk, and go for a walk.

Things to get to make recovery easier:

Liquid Tylenol and Vicodin
Lozenges?

I realize these videos are rather old and I’m just working my way through them, want to mention I appreciate very much you put in the effort into documenting your story, your decision process and I’m sure as I get further along, your outcome

Hi. I hope you're doing well. Could you share an honest review six years post-surgery? Are there any current problems or complications? Have you encountered any issues during this time? Do you feel 100% healthy?

Hi. I thought I heard you say you weren’t taking ibuprofen because you were at the time not fusing bones together. So my question is if I’m getting fusion done I probably won’t be taking any ibuprofen do you remember why they say not to take it? Just wondering because I was going to go to mart and get liquid ibuprofen but then I may not need it. My surgery is in one week. Thanks for any input. Your videos are calming my nerves. I’m totally terrified.

I watched all of your videos and they’ve been so helpful but I would also love to actually read a comment from you just talking about the “numbness recovery process” and how long it took .. was it sudden or gradual .. etc .. I’m so desperate🙌🏽 thankyou very much! Also .. Incase ur wondering .. I talked to my doctors about these problems but they don’t seem to care .. I feel like they just wanted me to do the surgery so they can get the money! 😭

Hello! I was wondering how your process has gone? My life is laying on the floor all day with excruciating neck and arm pain. I’m gonna need surgery. Would you be able to let me know how your feeling now years after the surgery? Many thanks, Grace

Hi. I’m on the verge of getting c4-c5 and c5-c6 replaced. How has the replacement held up for you? Do you notice any issues years later? I’m only 40 so I worry about being younger and the longevity of these but I would love to avoid a fusion. Any help would be appreciated

I recently had an ACDF surgery 2 weeks ago for C4-5 C5-6 C6-7 because I was experiencing numbness and tingling feeling in my legs and arms… however, after the surgery the numbness has gotten extremely worse!!!! And also, my left hand became very weak (I can’t even press the button of the washing machine!), and the back of my neck has been throbbing for the past 3 days!!!! I feels so discouraged and sad and regretful that I did this surgery! Please tell me things are gonna get better🙌🏽 My biggest issue is the numbness ... it’s the reason why I did this whole operation .. but it’s gotten worse .. so I don’t know how long to wait until it gets better! Please tell me everythingggg about your experience

Hello, I have recently been diagnosed with a ruptured disk C4-5 and bulged disk c5-6. I'm trying to understand why this has happened to me so quickly. I have recently (6months ago) switched over to consuming cashew milk for daily consumption and I have been using this with protein shakes as well.  My questioned to you is; do you consume some kind of milk alternative such as almond, rice, or cashew milk? I did a bit of research and found that there might be some hidden health dangers with the gum additive to thicken the milk. The thinking is that the gum additive is literally gumming up the nutrient channels that nourish the disk of the spine.  Any info would be helpful, thanks in advance and great videos
