My cousin and I saw it in the theater over Christmas break. She looked just like Drew Barrymore at the time, too! We were in 8th grade and it was one of the best times of my life!

I like that how they break down how horror movies are made, whos gonna die, whos the killer, etc within the movie. Jamie Kennedy was exceptional, great suspense, great cast

I saw it at the theater in a packed house. Since cell phones were not as common as now there was no warning to turn off of silence them before the movie started. During the scene where Sydney is first called at home the woman behind me got a phone call, which rang loudly, scaring the crap out of me. She answered it and had a whole conversation about how she was at the movies watching “that Scream movie”.

Horror genre was done and many thought it would never recover...up steps wes craven with Scream, a horror film that became a worldwide hit and made horror films relevant once again.

That’s why I went to see it. Someone at work said it was so scary she was afraid to ever babysit alone again. I HAD to see it then!! Made my non horror hubby come with me. 😂
