TQQQ Profitable Swing Trading Strategy & Best Long Term Buy Signal

In this video I will cover a swing trading strategy on the daily time frame, using TQQQ, a leveraged ETF that tracks the NASDAQ 100.

TQQQ is one of my favorite leveraged ETFs for swing trading and for holding long term. This video will cover a profitable swing trading strategy with buy and sell criteria for TQQQ.

Additionally, the combination of buy indicators is the best long term buy signal for those looking to add to their TQQQ long term holdings over time.

Over the last 10 years this strategy has returned on average 63% and was profitable 9 out of the 10 years in the backtest. This video will give the specific buy and sell criteria, as well as explain some of the theory behind the strategy.

Thanks Kyle - trading the TQQQ and SQQQ has been an epiphany for me this year (so far). Let's see how I do...

Kyle - cool video, thanks for sharing.

Now, 2 years later, how different is what you are doing?

Also, you might be able to achieve same or better performance with much less indicator complexity. Also, might not. :)

For example, I've been successfully daytrading 5m bars of the ES using only a MACD...but the MACD is set to a 15m chart. Its fun and all but daytrading is WAY too much screentime...and limited profitability.

Also, you're a musician?

HI Kyle, this is an awsome video! For this strategy, do you use Heikin-Ashi candles or just stadard candles?

I've been looking for TQQQ strategies getting ready for when the Bear market ends. Your strategy is very interesting. Are you still following it?

All of these Heiken-Ashi Swing videos you posted have the wrong backtest results because the execution is based on HaikenAshi Close price. Haiken-Ashi Close is calculated as (O+H+L+C)/4. Basically, it is executing after knowing the actual close and then buying/selling in the middle of the price range. I verified this using another software, if it is using actual close, your system would -46% up till 2020. I hope this post can save some people from losing money.

I wonder if you could code/program this into an API? What are your thoughts?

Kyle, can you update this with the latest six months performance during which we've had a 60% drop? How did it do?
Also, how do you rate this strategy compared with your other TQQQ swing strategy that gains 52% with max DD of 12%, in terms of how these would have compared in 2022?
Interesting work man, keep it up!

Thanks for sharing. I wonder if there is anything missing. At 8:21 there is no buy signal on Sep 29th 2021 - however RSI-2 is lower than 36 and there is no SELL signal (ADX 21-day is below 23) so according to the logic there should be a BUY signal. So what other condition is used to avoid buying at that time?
