preview_player
Показать описание
TQQQ is a leverage ETF that provides 3X the income and tracks the QQQ.

In this video I cover the risks and the rewards of leverage ETFs, and how Dollar Cost Averaging can help a portfolio benefit from using leverage, in comparison to a regular buy and hold strategy.

Every crash/collapse brings with it an equivalent market chance if you are early informed and equipped, I've seen folks amass up to $1m amid crisis, and even pull it off easily in a favourable economy. Unequivocally, the bubble/collapse is getting somebody somewhere rich.

Leveraged ETFs are good. It’s important to buy them when they’re very discounted though

Viktoriya,
I have watched and read more than 50+ videos and articles on Leveraged ETFs, yours is the best one that shows how to invest it for a long time despite all the risks.
I have TECL in my IRA and trade like a swing trade instead of Dollar Cost Averaging.

I bought this in the depths of a crappy 2022 summer at $23. My investment is sitting at nearly a 90% return as of today (about 16 months later) just with buy and hold. Yes, timing is everything. Buy when all seems hopeless. I'm still going to hold for the next 10+ years. It's better to play with money you don't need.

I love TQQQ, it and SOXL have made me so much money this year. It's very important to take some profit on the big upswings like we've had recently so you have cash to buy the dip later. I keep my leveraged funds at 20% of my portfolio and when they get too far off I rebalance. I do the same with TSLA because it's almost as volatile. The rest is in alot safer assets like dividend fund, precious metals etfs, bond funds and VXUS for international exposure. M1 finance makes it real easy with their pies and rebalancing with one click.

WOW crazy scary information. I'm very glad i know better. Anyone reading this i love 3x ETFs but i swing trade UPRO. I say listen to her if you like but TQQQ was not around as showed on her chart. If you had a lump in 2000 you still woyld not be back to that. Even DCA is dangerous in 3x. Do your research. You can safely DCA in 2x QLD and or SSO. Just understand unrealized returns to stay the course.

Thanks for this video.
I like how you show all the angles, not just hype or gloom.

I think TQQQ is an attractive fund if we have such a sharp decline in the value of the nasdaq to a point where the risk of it going down even more isn't extreme and would make it worth it!

Great video! Love your educational and helpful presentation! I hope this helps: Setting advanced trades in SQQQ (% drops in TQQQ, with laddered profit taking and trailing stop losses to get out of SQQQ) will counter the TQQQ pullbacks (which is really QQQ, right.) When QQQ becomes extended, major earnings, FOMC... are my main concerns. To counter reactionary lag, my "combined position" is built of a smaller position in TQQQ (33%'ish), a larger position in QLD(66%'ish), with advanced trades in SQQQ for the pullbacks. This will allow for a more accurate counter-positioning and reduce the dips in your TQQQ position. Do a backtest, compare this strategy while charting it next to TQQQ, and QQQ = smooth. Enjoy, and thanks again!

Just for the sake of argument with your example, if QQQ only needs to go up 23%, SQQQ would automatically rise 69%, making up for most of the loss as you mentioned.

Yep you are correct and thats why in addition to my long term dividend portfolio where i only sell covered calls strategically on these individual stocks i also have a portfolio margin account where i primarily sell puts and do the wheel strategy on the indexes and sector ETFs and quality stocks.

Normally I do not like DCA because it goes against the principles of C-A-N-S-L-I-M; however, I do not mind using it somewhat with TQQQ because you have a large basket of 100 stocks, even though about seven or eight of those stocks represent over 50% of the fund, it's far betting than the risk associated with DCA for a single stock. I do not agree with your interest rate correlation though. In 2023 and 2024 when interest rates were shooting up, TQQQ did very well, and much better than when rates were falling in 2018-2020. I did a multi decade study and found out stocks do well when rates go up.

1% expense ratio is nothing in such a volatile position like this. You will be made or broken on whether your entry and exit timing is good. I think this ticker is something to keep in the back pocket and wait for a market crash to enter and have balls of steel.

How can I not hit that like button!!! Thanks for your great explanation.

I hold 50% QQQ (1X) and 50% QLD (2x) for essentially 1.5x leverage

Only hold TQQQ long term if you have true diamond hands

Currently DCAing into TQQQ now since we know a big dip will come shortly after fed lowers rates. This means I will experience a dip (most likely big) in the short term but I won’t miss a “buy the dip” opportunity. Currently, the market is expecting one more rate hike in 1 of the next 2 meetings. Followed by a pause. I’m also expecting QQQ to move up during this pause. A chance to get out before fed lowers rates or I could keep it in. We will see.
