I hate it when they do benchmark in 4k but literally running DLSS on performance to get high FPS. It litterally rendering at 1080p internally. Anything below Quality is blurring the image quite bad.

Basically they've made the 5090 even more appealing for creative uses than the 4090 already was. The main reason the 4090 was pretty much constantly sold out was its creative prowess and now the 5090 doubles down on that.

The 90 tier cards have always been for people with more money than sense when it comes to gaming use, what I'm worried about is the 5080 seeming like a miniscule step-up from the 4080 without multi frame-gen carrying it.

Pretty sure the pricing is a bit of a sneaky move. On the one hand it looks like Nvidia have been ‘sensible’ and priced the 5080 more conservatively, but on the other hand I really feel that card should have been 20/24GB. By making it a 16GB card they are trying to push as many people as they can who want more vram in to a 5090, which they’ve just raised the price by 400 dollars over the 4090. So if you want more than 16GB and a 50 series GPU you have to spend DOUBLE over the 5080.
