Israel blames Palestinian Islamic Jihad for deadly hospital attack

Israel has denied being behind an attack on a hospital in Gaza that may have killed more than 500 people.

The Israeli Defence Forces said a rocket fired by the group Palestinian Islamic Jihad likely caused the tragedy.

Hamas blamed Israel for the blast, calling it a "crime of genocide".

Palestinian officials warned that some 800 people may have perished.

There must be enough evidence from the munitions used to determine whose rockets they were. There must also be evidence from satellite imagery to determine where the rockets were fired from.
