Multilingual kids... 30 years later! // FAMILY GAME NIGHT

Показать описание
My sister and I grew up trilingual. One of the first things people ask when they hear that is, "Well, what do you all speak to each other when you're all together? How does that work?" So here is a video that shows what a typical Sanchez family game night looks like. It's a big, beautiful mess. Thanks to my family for playing along with this video, and to my brother-in-law (who at the time was meeting us all for the first time, lol) for sticking around after this and deciding to marry my sister anyway :-D
And of course, thank you to my parents who taught us multiple languages, even when we were bratty about it, and even when they were told it was a bad idea and that we wouldn't learn any language properly.
p.s. if the subtitles are too fast, watch back at .75 playback speed or just keep your finger near the pause button!
Also, apologies for the sound. Next time we won't have the mic so close to us. Who knew things would get so heated!
Thanks for stopping by! If you liked this video, please subscribe! :-D
