I'm glad you guy see beauty in rusted old cars. These will never be made again, once they go to the scrap yard they are gone forever. Thanks for saving these classics.

I'm amazed with all the Youtube channels that show these auctions of cars from the 40's, 50's and later. Clearly old timers collected (hoarded) and saved these old cars from so many decades ago. They then passed on and the auction folks show up. What I haven't understood is who has interest in saving and driving these old cars from say the 40's and 50's? I never see cars from that era on the road doing a Sunday drive. The people who had emotional connections to them from their youth have passed on or, are really old. So, there can't be much value in them these days and most sell for scrap prices I'd imagine. I think we all like and appreciate seeing these really old cars from so long ago but how many of us would really want one in the garage. With that said, I'm glad people are saving them.

I would love to see the guys take one of those vehicles and really take the time to completely restore it. Make it a long term series of videos and lets follow the progress. As many videos as it takes.

Howdy from Scotland gentlemen. I’ve been waiting patiently for someone to take on the restoration of a Plymouth Fury. My favourite US car. I hope you guys get in about it and transform it into a stunning automobile. Jeez, it’s almost half way there already .
Well I guess it’s in bad shape but when these cars are restored they are a work of art, and really show what America was like during the 50’s .

It already looks cool sitting up on the trailer.

Here’s hoping……..
Cheers & All the best …
John.

I love looking at these old cars. I can’t help but think out the lives they lived in service to their previous owners. You got a good deal on that. Bronco. I’d love to see all of these cars fully restored. We’ve got to preserve the past in order to go into the future.

That initial pull out of the muck after years is always very emotional for me! Totally serious. A ton of money about to be spent, but a reclamatoion of a true, beautiful bit of Americana too. Looking at those hulks, I always think of the years of good times and sad times too had in them. Lives were lived in them and maybe lost in them too, and not just the rats' lives. XD XD

That’s a 59 Plymouth! I had a 59 Savoy. It had push button transmission. It was quite the head turner. Christine was a 58 Plymouth. The 59 was a one year body style. The fins and eyebrows over the headlights are unique to that year.

Glad you walked away from the Javelin, if it was a 68 or 69, it would've been a keeper.
Thanks for bringing us along!!

Hi Bogata Tx. !
I always enjoy watching your family show, pulling vehicles out from all sorts of places. I will be on the alert to see what you do to these auction vehicles. I like both but leaning towards the 74’ Bronco because I have an old 66’Ford truck w/ V 8 and I was born in 1974.
Wish you the best in your progress w/ theses two ol’ fixer uppers!

Fantastic vid! I hope to see a “will it run” on the Bronco. And breathing new life into that Fury would be epic if it’s worth it

This was very entertaining to watch, seeing two fellas walking around looking at old cars that they didn't know what year or model they were. It's very dangerous to buy cars that you don't know what your getting yourself into .. but I admit that I don't know anything about Broncos, they all look the same to me, so I wouldn't know if it's worth any big money or not like some of them are, but pretty sure most of them that are worth big money never started off as rat infested rust buckets. But keep up the great work guys, I like what you're doing and wish you much success❤

TR, you all should check out Scott's collection of Furys at Cold War Motors! He has restored three to showroom condition! And the best one started out worse than the one you just picked up. Cool video!
