Civic more reliable than a Corolla? They both have CVT transmissions, so the Honda has a more reliable transmission? I think not. Toyota 4 speed automatic and 6 speed automatics and CVTs are the best in the business. It's taken from the Prius technology the Corolla CVT. I don't like Prius, but they can go for 300, 000 or more and yes everything including the transmission. Engines on the Civic and Corolla are neck and neck in reliability, but the Corolla has the better transmission. Did I mention the Corolla has more horsepower and better gas mileage than the Civic? It also has better 0-60 times. When it comes to looks I do like the Civic slightly better, but either car would grow on me the same way. Because the Civic is sportier makes it the better car? I think not.

Corolla is the best! They have a cvt but the 24 corolla and newer has a gear one making the CVT last much libg r for sure

My fiancé works at a dealership chain as a shuttle driver. I can say that the reliability of the Civic is nowhere near as good as the Corolla, especially with the 1.5T engines. It's not bad, but big $$$$ problems aren't as rare as you'd think.

u cant compare civic with corolla...it is another class from any point of view...i had corolla and now i had a civic and the difference is enormous from the quality of interior materials to the performance of the cars

I have a civic.. I love it and it’s super reliable.. but there is no way it beats the Corolla’s legendary reliability.
