Blown away by how good this is. If anyone reading this is wondering if it's worth it... It is

Fitted the mod today and I'm very impressed with the feel which is much closer to a real life car brake. Great stuff man.

Ordered the parts and installed it today. Had some testing and settled with a red spring and a couple of rubber pieces for now. Whats nice is that you have so much pieces to experiment with, it's impossible for someone not to find a setup that works for them.

Thanks for this video!

Unbelievable mod that allowed me to shave off almost 2 seconds of my lap times in ACC and my race consistency is all time high. I've tried many combinations, but ultimately went for stack with no skateboard bushings, no washers between the rubber spacers and it feels amazing to me, OEM spring-based stack is not even close. Thank you very much for sharing this mate!

Thank you man. You just made me 2 seconds faster by using this mod. .I brake more often but more gently because I am more confident using them.Never had locking my brakes anymore. Thank you for sharing !

My favourite part is finding the listing for the spacers online now has one that states they are good enough for sim rig Tclm pedals lol

This mod is amazing. Within minutes, I've adapted to it and am braking far more accurately. And like you said, it's feeling far more realistic. Thank you for this, it is incredible!

I just did it today and it's just amazing like a real car under 20 euros !! You can feel the braking from 0 to 100 linearly and not with bearings as with springs! Thank you very much Sim Racing Corner !!

I just got my rubber washers in that I ordered a month ago so I was finally able to try this out. WOW 😯 I went straight to an online race in ACC to give it a try. My fastest lap on the Nurburgring was a 1:56.7…my third lap of qualifying was a 1:55.5, and I was consistently in the 1:55 to 1:56 in the race. I’m blown away by how good this mod feels. Can’t wait to see what else you have in store for us

This worked amazingly well! Now I can trail brake up to the apex without locking up. I just tested a set of Heusinkveld pedals, and I have to say there is little difference in feel between them now. Granted, it's not nearly as cool to look at, but I like to save that kind of money for my REAL performance cars.

I just did this mod after seeing this video. It's absolutely amazing. Very close to the real thing. Stunning. Thank you for the opportunity. Happy driving. Peace.

F1 22/Forza guy from Canada here! Just ordered the parts and I'll return with a review once I'm able to test! Judging by other's feedback, I'm going to be very happy.

Ok, so I bought it.
I got rubber spacers with a strength of A45 and A38. First I tried the A45 with a red Spring that comes with the T-LCM, but I use so much braking force that I still had a very significant bump once the spring was fully compressed. With the A45 and A38 in combination it feels awesome, I'm even considering buying some harder once A55 or harder to limit the travel, but for now I'm pretty happy.
Thank you, that video was really helpful, my lap times in ACC are about 0.2 sec faster, I never thought that 20€ make such a difference.

Here is a call out from Hawkins on that shore 45A rubber spacers

Perhaps you could mention on the You tube comments that we will make them available on Amazon US and EU this next week for all the avid sim drivers out there.

After using Apex and Nox3d mods, I can say without the doubt this is the best mod of them all. It is so realistic, it helped me shaved 1-2 seconds on most Gr.1-3 cars.
However I am not using the top purple bushing, but 4 black rubber and 1 purple at the bottom.
A combo with Nox3d is also good, if you like a more softer travel of the pedal.

I had to order the rubber spacers from the UK. I'm from Germany. But it was absolutely worth it. Thank you!

i tried this hack for the better part of a month now and thought it deserves a review as the idea really is brilliant. so first of all i'd say the feel of the pedal improves tons with this. foot pressure needed increases, it just feels like a brake, no hard stop and with different spacer hardnesses you can adjust the pedal to your liking. its just overall better in every way. so thank you very much for this. i love how my brake feels and i love how this simply makes the t-lcm a way better pedal set.

anyway, here's how i'd tweak it:
- use spacers with m8 hole size: with the m6 the spacers rub on the center metal rod and thus start to disintegrate right off the bat. the material wears off on the inside and the force needed to compress it gradually decreases. Also it lets the rubber stick on the rod and decreases the expansion rate of the compressed rubber. a bit of rubber-safe lube helps with this though...

- use elastomer spacers instead of simple rubber: yes this will make it a bit more expensive but the rather cheap rubber just tends to lose its strength and structure pretty quickly. mine startet braking on the outer surface after about a week. better quality elastomer spacers will take the compression cycles for longer and stay more compression force compliant.

- center the spacers: use a ring of double-sided tape to stick the spacers (centered) on the m6 washers. this will help against rubbing away material on the inside and helps an even load distribution and therefor improves lifespan and structural integrity of the spacers.

thanks again
cheers
