I really like how politically correct you're talking about political correctness, as this topic can drive anyone mad :)) If one's afraid to sound offensive, he might as well never open his mouth at all, as there will always be someone to find something to get offended with. Anyway, wanted to thank you for your videos, they are very useful.

I really liked the way you approached such sensitive topic.
By the way, in Brazil we use the term "índio" (singular), "índios" (plural) and "povos indígenas" (indigenous people). They're not offensive at all and have been used for such a long time. Regarding race, sexual orientation and religion, it might be a bit trick sometimes though.

Politically Correctness is hampering communication. If everyone starts getting offended for anything, what to do? Keep Quiet and say nothing?

If one was cheated or swindled in a deal, people used to say that they were gypped (jipped.)
Which insinuated that gypsies were liars and thieves.

Hey Master Mark, this topic is rather interesting! The politically correct term for the indigenous people in Malaysia is 'Bumiputra'. They're all Christians. Currently the most touchy topic is ICERD ( The International Convention On The Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination). A month ago, United Nations invited our country to be member of ICERD. They're doing this for elimination of racial discrimination and the promotion of understanding among all races. Unfortunately, majority of Muslims Malays rejected it due to the fear!
Master Mark, I'm very disappointed with them. This was a recent case, I guess it happened three weeks ago.😢😥

We should be kind to each other and treat everyone equally no matter their skin tone, gender (preference), religion etc. We are all born on the same planet and we all share it. However, striving to always be politically correct as you might offend someone if you aren't is the same as burying you head in the sand. We need to talk openly and freely about the important topics of modern society because this is the only way to find a solution that tackles the core of the problem. However, there should also be clear rules and limitations for without them our way of life and culture is in risk of being destroyed.

In ten years term, I don’t think we could say anymore without hurting someone’s feelings

Many years ago, there was a hot topic that was to build Shri Ram Mandir(temple) in Ayodhaya but a few years ago the Supreme Court of India resolved it an divided it into three parts. And, everyone appreciated it.

Besides, it doesn't not matter how you call them, is how your treat them.

Screw political correctness. That destroys lives. I think a lot of the issue is people are too caught up in their feelings and are so afraid of getting them hurt that they lash out at everything that they don’t like. I’m offended by this, I’m offended by that, you should be offended by this, it never ends. A lot of the people in the older generations think this is very stupid. I think the core issue is that people don’t want to be blamed for their own problems so they came up with a way to blame others for their issues.

I think, general rules of politeness and kindness should be applied to communication in any societies, along with common sense, of course. Some politicians say something offensive on purpose, in order to show their authority or simply to attract some extra attention to themselves or their political program. Nowadays, politicians behave more like celebrities than people who are supposed to be the best minds and rulers of a country. Oh, well.
To be honest, I have no idea what would I do and what changes should I make first if I were a president of any country. I guess, that's why I am not one of them. Haha

Wow... Bro you are super polite and it's peaceful to hear you talking. I actually don't care about people if they get offended when I don't follow political correctness, but I don't have any intentions to hurt them as well. So I actually never cared about political correctness.

In South Africa, the politically correct term to refer to the indigenous people of South Africa is 'the indigenous people's of South Africa'
