Played a 63 T-Bird 70-s to 80's, sold it and a 64 and 76 in 1989. Got one of these Epi's in 2017, it's been my main bass since. SO GLAD Epi did these, like meeting an old friend after so many years!!!

Great video! About a year ago I bought an Epi Firebird in mint condition and love it. Couple of weeks ago I thought, "I should get the Thunderbird to match it." And I don't even play bass.

Tonight I walked into a second hand shop and walked out with a Thunderbird and the gig bag in great condition for $150.

I love everything about this bass, the neck-through construction and being able to see the layers top to bottom really appeal to me, also the two-tone headstock is beautiful. This is on my short list of new guitars to get and would be my first bass, not a bad one to learn on!

Awesome looking and sounding bass! For the price, it's hard to beat.

Best Thunderbird player has to be the icon himself, Pete Way.

Favorite T-Bird player is whoever played the intro on the song "Hero" by Warrior Soul.

at least they didn't use that pos 3 piece bridge. Epiphone thunderbird pro with active pups is my bird of choice.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but that sounded like Sumthin for Nuthin at the start! 😃. Always love a good Thunderbird demo!

Love the looks and I'm sure these new are better my old (early 2000's?) Epi T-Bird had mega neck dive and a really thick neck that I just could not get on with. Gave it away to my bass player mate. Great memories though of UFO's Pete Way using one at the Glasgow Apollo! Maybe I need to try the new one?

Always when I see this I think of Nikki Sixx and oddly Cliff Williams from back in black album 😅
