What is Integrative Medicine and Health?

Early on, the SMHS recognized the value of combining conventional and complementary medicine to provide patient-centered care that makes use of all appropriate treatments to achieve optimal health and healing methods. In 1998, Dr. Pan founded the Center for Integrative Medicine, one of the first of its kind to be established at an academic medical institution.
