Are they making replacement transoms for older boats

Been done this road with my 1700 Fisherman. Replaced the transom two years ago on my dime. I used Coosa Board and it wasn't cheap. Too bad Lund didn't include the lifetime warranty on the transom or the floor. Yep, I had to replace the floor as well. This is my last Lund, but most likely my last boat so I can say that.

I got a 21 year old model 1700 Pro Sport Adventure. Found rotten transom this year and looking at $4K to $5K for repairs assuming it can be done in 40 hours.
Were this is a common problems on Lund boats, It would be great if they offered HDP replacements with installation instructions for the dealers on older boats. Should be easy to do with a computerized cutting machine and the original drawings to make new transoms. You would do a banner business with all the old boats out there and keep/ win back or encourage buyers showing a commitment to owners.

Are these the standard go to transom for all production boats now? Or are they still being produced with wood transoms?

I am the original of a 1999 Explorer 1650 SS. The boat has always been garage kept and is excellent condition. I submitted a warranty claim through my dealer for a rotten transom. Lund denied the claim. When I bought it 25 years ago it was warranted for life. Now they just change the rules. Don't believe any of their warranty BS

People drill and improperly install transducers and motor mount bolts on boats and want to blame the manufacturer when the plywood transom rots 10 or 20 yrs later?
