Update: The first question in the C2 Proficiency speaking paper is now "Where do you live?" rather than "Where are you from?" - a small but significant change.

I am one of the people who was eagerly waiting for this video, so, here I am....all ears. You two are amazing. My heart always skip a beat when you talk about my beloved " tierrina", so yes, quaint and picturesque to say the least. Thank you guys for the video, that doesn't make the C2 less scary, though 😂😂😂.

Something worth minding in my opinion, in case one didn't: this channel's owner uses here a very useful idiom: to keep the ball rolling (meaning in this case to keep the conversation going). Needless to say it was a great job done on both parts in this outstandingly valuable video.

Hi Ben! I'm taking the CPE exam on Monday and the Speaking part is the most frightening for me (to say the least), mostly because it is tough for me to figure out appropriate ideas to communicate on the spot, I'm kind of an introverted person and anxiety loves to play tricks on my brain. Having said that, I'm sure that with your help I'll challenge myself to do my utmost. Wish me good luck!

Thank you Ben. It was such a great help. Please create more videos of this type. You were a little nervous because I think you were trying to teach us special vocabulary. You weren't your true self all the time through the video. You used more advanced vocabulary and idiomatic expressions than your interlocutor, who was also a splendid speaker of English. I appreciate both of you, very well done.

This has been tremendously helpful, so thank you! I'm a non-native English teacher and I'm taking my PCE test next Friday in Madrid. Feeling confident but you are never "too ready"!🤓

Thanks a lot for that. It's so useful. There are very few materials on C2 level on internet. And this is what I'm trying to get at the moment.

Regarding the sounds that could come to mind from the woman sewing, the first thing I though of was her breathing. I am pretty sure we would here that 😃 and the thread going through the cloth ( no t sure if there is a specific sound word for that) THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEOS, THEY ARE SO VERY-MUCH USEFUL
