Whole India seems like a „Need for Speed“ experience

Dude! I'm a long distance motorist. My one cent: in India if you maintain 80-100kph you can drive in the last lane to the left and the white trench line. You can peacefully drive too. as most crowds cruise at 60-80. So you'll be a lone Ranger without hassle. At times cars that are high speed will pass through you. Trucks don't, buses don't. So you're sorted but always refresh your look on your rear view mirror and keep a keen observation on the front all the way upto 100m to be real safe. Cuz sometimes animals jump in.

We take “survival of the fittest” very seriously in India 😂

In India, the only direction from where the vehicles could not come towards you is from below and above

Indian road logic "road is road, we drive on road 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥"

No actually NOT OK to overtake from the left side, especially a big truck from it's left side.
There's every chance that the big vehicle or truck may swerve to the left to avoid vehicles overtaking from the opposite when that truck swerves to the left, you have nowhere to go but off the road or under the truck 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

I suggest you "Never overtake any vehicle from the left side". Sensible Indians overtake from the right when there is an oppertunity and almost nil risk. When you r overtaking you blow horn to make the driver of the vehicle in front aware that someone is going to overtake, sometimes drivers in the front will give hand signal to wait or go. Never never overtake on basics for safe never go too near or close to a heavy vehicle.
