After trying this a couple times and struggling because my hair is so thick, I experimented with a slight alteration. Instead of one ponytail in the middle, I began with two ponytails (one stacked on top of the other one) and then continued the same way. It helped my hair feel way more secure! It’s like a double-decker bun!

For the first time ever i actually achieved a bun hairstyle...i have long (hip length) thick 2b+2c waves that are very unruly...i never did a bun without it turning out as a hot mess and then loosing extreme amounts of hair later when I untie it, and i always had a frizz ball in the after math, never any bun hairstyle felt this secure... thank you much 🥺❤️it's really awesome...edit: also you don't have to apply any amount of styling products or heat to achieve this guys, it sure will be my fav bun style ever, other hairstyle I've seen always require atleast some amount of styling but this doesn't...

This hair style is not SO easy nor effortless ...it does take effort! However when you get the hang of it and tweak it here and there for your own hair it’s actually not too difficult for how it looks in the end. I wore this style for an event and got so many compliments!
