Could you hear how quiet it was when they were eating dinner? Just them talking (basically whispering :-). No television! No cell phones! No noise! Perfect!

Bo is so gentle in his upward age. I just wanna cuddle with him! Looked like a really fun trip. Good fish score!

Awe Bo what a stud! He has that young mind that tells his high mileage body to keep up with the family. You can tell he loves being anywhere and everywhere you two are and works hard to keep up and not miss out on all the fun. He Makes me smile.

I've been following your channel for years. You both are simply AWESOME. Love the consistency and quality of your content :)

When Pike slow down biting, try riding you snowmobiling in decreasing circles around you tipups area. Also banging a heavy weight off the bottom stirs them up. That's why you get hits first thing you just hit the bottom checking the depth. Plus the noise and vibration from the drill. This works for us in the slow times we learned the snowmobile trick one day when my son was more interested in riding and not fishing. I thought he was pissing off the other folks on the lake. Next weekend I was alone and the same folks fishing. They came over and asked where the snowmobile was? They told me the fish started hitting with him riding around and wanted him back! Good luck great show.

I love this channel SO much. Im born&living in the Netherlands, we have ZERO wildlife, no 'wild' nature, and heavy regulations for the nature there is. Just 20+ million people cramped on a piece of land the size of New York. Dutch people do nothing other than go to school, then college, then work corporate till we die. Ever since i found this channel, ive seen what a REAL life is😍😍Real food, real people, actual living instead of just excisting. This channel is singlehandedly curing my depression a video at a time😂😍💕💕💕💕💕💕

When I lived in Northern Alberta we often fished for pike. Nothing like fresh caught fish pan fried in butter, sometimes battered. My daughter's first time out, she caught a monster pike in the weedy shallows by the shoreline. This was before cell phones, and no camera that day. It was hilarious watching her and her brother trying to bring it in while stuck in the muck of the shore. We never weighed it or measured it, my son fileted it right there. I brought the head home and it measured 9 inches. We figured it might have been about 45 inches. Another time we caught three good size pike one after another, and they measured 32, 34 and 36 inches. Pike are greedy, we often found other pike in their stomach. Fish seem to go in head first and the head dissolves first. Thanks for reminding me of great memories.

Gosh darn Bo is so pitifully cute. Bandit is adorable also, but there is something about Bo that makes you want to squeeze him with love. The best pups ever, of course, next to mine ;)

You guys are just the best. Eric’s “oh my gosh” at the fish cracked me up. I would’ve had a couple different words. But it’s nice I can trust you both with such wholesome content that I can watch with my kids. Keep up the great work. Your channel is such a joy.

Well my words exactly. We love them, and their kids) . We've always had large dogs you know they love to pretend they are lap dogs. Its different loving on 100 lbs. In your lap up side 5 lbs. Nothing like it. Well just wanted to say I adopted you all from my sister who found yaw, she died like 4 weeks after she found yaw. But we binge watched yaw up till she died. God I miss her, but when I watch your vids, it's like. SHES RIGHT HERE beside me. Love yaw keep um coming bye for now!!!

73 year old female from grey damp Manchester UK. I find your channel informative, enjoyable, non pretentious, fantastic!. Your title "simple" living in Alaska makes me chuckle. It seems that simple living relies on a lot of expensive looking high tech gear!
What really surprises me is how much food you are able to grow in the short season you have. I wish you as many years of this life as you wish for.

I always get excited when I get the notification that a new video is ready. Your cinematography skills are really reaching a superior level. Please keep those videos coming as often as you are able to take the time to do so.
