Wombat here! Thanks again Quinlan! It was great to see the bear! It will make a wonderful addition to our channel. JTC actually has 2 members (Wombat and Dan) and we release a Japanese wildlife video every week. Thanks to everyone for checking out our channel!

Would be interesting to see a video (maybe in collaboration with Tokyo Lens) where video is captured around abandoned villages. A time lapse, with highlights, over a long period of time would be very interesting.

So glad you agreed to do this with Wombat and hiis channels Kyushu Trail and Japan Trail Cam. He and Dan have shown some amazing footage of endangered species like the Copper Pheasant. These trail cams are also very valuable to scientists studying the wildlife and their behavior, so it is a very important part of citizen science!

What a fun adventure this was! Your videos never disappoint! That bird at the end of the trail cam footage looked like it _might_ be the Japanese quail. Wonderful video — thank you!

What a lovely video! It is so good to see the wildlife who live in those amazing places you are showing us. I only found your channel a couple of weeks ago and have been going through all the content since then, and wow is it good! I've laughed and shed tears from the sheer beauty of the places you've shown us and you are a wonderful companion to explore these places with. I really enjoy your presentation style. Thank you so much for making all these videos. As soon as I can I will be buying some of your merchandise so I can proudly sport the GoNorth Japan logo! Keep up your amazing work. Oh and yes... Pom Poko is a fantastic and very ballsy film with a timely ecological message too.

That's so cool (and cute lol)! I was thinking of using a night vision camera, after a mink came into our yard. The quality of that footage is really good

Great shots! I especially love the fox going back and forth. Someone should get footage like this of Hokkaido wildlife, too. We have different bears up here, higuma!
