New Life SMP Ep3 - WORKING AIRPORT IN MINECRAFT!!

Welcome to the NEW LIFE SMP! In episode 3 of New Life and this modded Minecraft series, I start by flying over my airport-modded Minecraft base and start a massive expansion to the base. Also, I get the airplane flying and taking off and landing on the runway with the Create mod. The airport is now fully functional airport in Minecraft. I love the Minecraft Create mod, the best mod ever!

One of the funniest things about scar to has to be the fact that he has to be one of the best Terraformers out there yet so many of his build are set on flat elevated plains

I can't believe Stacy managed to save someone's life with her build even tho she still hasn't met any other players on the server! Her meeting Scar would make my day tho. Crossover vibes

The panes are from it being disassembled and reassembled in the ground, with blocks around it. So make sure the panes are free of blocks all around when you assemble/disassemble. Also, the clouds could be causing the shadows, maybe try turning the clouds off.

The cast iron recipe is the same as the trapdoor, so you need to put in a recipe filter on the basin. It’s on the orange boxes that appear on the basin. As for the filter, you’ll need an item filter, and use the side menu to drag a cast iron ingot onto the slots. Then, right click the filter onto the basin. After you have one, you can replace the item filter with a regular cast iron ingot

The shadows appear because the minecart is in a dark area. Should be a easy fix with torches or something around the underground track.

The glasspanes are locked to the rest/stop position of the plane. Make sure the glass panes don’t touch any blocks at the stopping position

Hey Scar! Regarding the glass panes, it's connecting to the dirt blocks in the ground when the plane is stopped. I tested and you can glue STRING instead of glass panes to make it near-invisible! :) Hope that helps!!

Sometimes I think about how Scar didn't always pronounced "scared for life" as for life" until he did a pirate theme during one of the seasons of Hermitcraft and saying his outro the pirate way became habit, and I wonder if he notices the he's still doing the pirate pronunciation.

I did a lil chuckle. I love how well Scar uses vanilla redstone blocks when making builds, but create really works differently with them.

Such an awesome episode, my anxiety was through the roof at the start but hearing him so happy and excited watching the plane land and take off, makes up for it. I was definitely smiling along! Loving where this is going!

To make the Cast Iron Ingots: You need to put only one iron to make a singular Cast Iron Ingot. Then right click the Cast Iron Ingot on the Filter slot of the Basin (the little square). Now you can throw as many Iron Ingots as you want, and it will only make Cast Iron Ingots.

I believe your plane would work better if you built the "base" to be a Create Train rather than a minecart contraption. As long as the entire structure is part of the train, you could install the train controller up on the plane itself and drive around your rails that way. This would also allow you to set routes and schedules for your planes to take off, land, and travel where ever you want them to go automatically. If other players wanted to, they could even add extensions to your tracks that lead to their bases and build their own runways by following the pattern you just set for the underground portion of your airport.

Scar I think you should consider switching to a traintrack based system. It would make the turning and taking off look a lot smoother and more natural with tilting and more gradual turns. Might also help with the shadows

The builds you've done in this world are amazing so far! also, once you get far enough into the create mod, you should definitely replace the minecart and rails that you're using to move the plane with a train, that way you could control how fast the plane moves, it would move more smoothly, and you'd be able to make split paths for it to go on

I'm so impressed with this episode, Scar! First, congrats on conquering your fear of snakes (in Minecraft). Second, I love the spindly trees - they are perfect for the terrain. And last, but not least, seeing the plane taking off and landing was epic...amazing work💜

They don't unload when out of render distance

You can schedule them to "fly" to specific locations

And most important of all animals get funny little hats when controlling the plane
