I remove a wall from the kitchen with electrical and plumbing in this episode. Actually I remove two walls in the kitchen, each of which are a half wall. One of the half walls has plumbing and electrical, while the other half wall I remove only has electrical outlets.
The half wall I remove with electrical was the easier wall of the two to remove, but it does cause a big problem for me. Removing the wall causes a big hole in the floor that I need to repair before I can put down new flooring.
Removing the half wall in the kitchen with the plumbing was much more difficult for me because of everything I needed to work around. I was really worried about causing a water leak from the pipes getting cracked. I also didn't know where the pips ran behind the wall i was removing so this caused me a big headache. It was difficult to remove this half wall in the kitchen but I needed to get the job done in order to install new kitchen cabinets.

I like how you carefully demo-ed that wall! You took everything apart perfectly!

I can feel your anxiety through the screen. I keep looking at the split level 1/2 wall where my dishwasher and sink is located, that I want so desperately to cut down and open up so I can create an island and this would TOTALLY be me during demo. Thanks for sharing the process and expressing your moments of doubt and uncertainty! I think I'll pay someone to do this. My foundation is also on a concrete slab where my kitchen is located.
