With all of the boasting of nationalism by Putin while he and his government have not supported family values. We in the US though are headed in the same way as Russia, with the degradation of marriage, the diminishing economic resources for married couples and abortion on demand up to birth in some states, is a cocktail for disaster. We need an open discussing in the US about our own demographics before it is too late to change the course.

Let's be straight, Russia's demographic situation is really bad but who is really that much better in europe?

Russia has worked very hard to secure the decline of it's nation. Declining population, combined with corruption, crime, and the insane political and military moves of it's governmental leadership will seal it's fate. It has secured it's place in the world as a pariah and scorned, terroristic, criminal government. This will not bode well for the security and prosperity of it's remaining citizens. The ability of the average Russian citizen to think and endeavor freely is being suppressed to the point of critical national failure.
