I saw one of these at home depot yesterday and had to go over and take a 2nd look. It was a S100 but I noticed it didn't have the plastic transmission from the old E100. I actually like the changes and improvements 👍. Fuel gauge is a nice improvement

I got a S110 last year. Going to do an oil change do I need to remove the plastic shroud around the filter? Also my S110 has the fuel gauge under the seat yet.

I purchased a John Deere S240. The digital fuel gauge is blinking but does not give me the gas volume. It shows the hours and then shows E33. The indicator stay on even when I turn the tractor off. Is it suppose to stay on or do I need to reset it somehow.

It took me a long time to choose between the John Deere S100 and Husqvarna YTH18542 .

(Craftsman, Cub Cadet, Troy Bilt were not in play - These 3 are all basically MTD mowers with shared parts. I like that John Deere and Husqvarna makes their own stuff)

Just want to let you know because of your videos and the information shared I am going to purchase a S120 this Spring.Looking forward to the 22 HP Briggs and Stratton on it.I currenty have a 15.5 HP Briggs and Stratton on my riding mower and it struggles if the grass gets to high during those rainy weeks we sometimes get.That motor is 15 years old and still runs great and I love Briggs and Stratton despite negative reviews I sometimes see.Thanks Again.

Thanks for the info! I'm going to buy one for my Husband for our anniversary and I was trying to figure out which one to get. This video helped quite a bit but now I have to work on which model. In August of 2019 we bought a home with almost an acre and poor guy has been using a push mower. Any suggestions?

I'm trying to decide between the S100, S110, and S120. I'm just not sure how much hp I need. My yard isn't big (less than half an acre) but I'm a big guy and my backyard slopes downhill. Any suggestions? Thanks

nice review :) do you know, the new headlights still running yellowish lights or upgrade to led lights ? also i have the 2014 d160, looking to the s170, other then the fuel.gage is their any upgrade? engine, transmission, .frame, .etc
