I think Gardevoir suits him more than Gallade. Only because of the fact that Ralts and Max were extremely emotionally linked in the brief time they knew each other, and Gardevoir is loyal to it's trainer, willing to sacrifice herself to ensure they survive

Would have had Max's ace be a Slaking, like his dad. I like to think he would use it and Breloom in tag teams; in which Breloom would use Worry seed on Slaking to get it moving.

Having a Jirachi in his team would be epic, but not very likely since Jiraqchi sleeps for a thousand years.

Here’s my
Team for Max

1. Mightyena- same reason
2. Snorlax- Max always watched May’s munchlax and I do see her giving it to him.
3. Seceptile- Max was mad at may for choosing Torchic over Treeko. Max will definitely choose Treeko as his starter.
4.Gallade- Same reason.
5. Slacking- In my head, Max will take over his dad’s gym one day.
6. Jirachi- We all seen the movie haha.

Pokémon should expand on Max as a mini series. He is the only character that traveled with Ash that could not obtain a Pokémon or go against gym leaders

Bonnie got zygrade, max of jirachi, a lengendary & mythical Pokemon, they are definitely going to be great trainers
