My mom made this except with corned beef. You have the most mischievous and sparkly smile-it makes me smile back.

This is a great Cheese Ball.I have made this cheeseball for about 38 years, but I also put med. shredded cheddar cheese in it and extra pineapple. When finished, coat it with finely chopped pecans.

I save Tammy’s videos for bedtime. My husband died in his sleep 4 months ago and these videos make bedtime easier. And tonight, she brought back happy memories. He was a retired Presbyterian minister and the church that he was serving really had good times getting together for a special party at Xmas time. In 1973 I had sampled this cheeseball at a tasting party and loved it. So I decided to make it for the church’s party. Same recipe but rather than chopping finely the onion, the recipe called for maybe a Tablespoon of onion flakes soaked for a few minutes in water.
But what I liked about Tammy’s is adding the chopped pecans. The recipe that I used so many years ago, the cheese ball was rolled in those expensive nuts. We have got a tropical storm tonight in my part of Texas and came to bed kinda tears eyed. But this sure cheered me up. Happy memories.

I love to make cheese balls with cream cheese, sun dried tomatoes, green onions, garlic and shredded cheese. Sometimes I roll it in pecans. Its a family favorite. This looks great!!!

Same exact cheese ball I’ve made every Christmas. I use half green and half ref bell pepper for the holidays. Really festive, The only difference is instead of putting the chopped pecans inside, I roll the cheese ball in them.

This is an oldie but goodie recipe that we used to have at parties and showers. Does anyone remember simply putting a block of cream cheese out with pepper jelly poured over the top? We ate it with crackers--now that was an easy and delicious dish!

Hi Tammy! This recipe is a big fav & has been part of our holiday tradition for like forever! My grandmother made this cheeseball during the holidays. I remember she would save the pineapple juice and use it as part of the liquid in making a gelatin dessert. She never wasted a thing! Thanks for sharing the recipe & for another video, y'all!! 😊

I have made this for years. Always get asked for recipe. A few years ago I made it and took it to a birthday party. I didn't make it into a ball, just mixed it all up and put it in a bowl. We set it outside with some club crackers. Went back inside to get other items. Came out and 4 guys had eaten every bite and went on and on about how good it was and said to give their wives the recipe. When I told them it included pineapple the guys raised their eyebrows and one said...I don't like pineapple but I loved that dip!

Try it with "candied" jalapenos. It is delish. They can be found on the Mexican foods isle in the grocery in a small jar. 👍

2 8oz. pkgs. Philly Cream Cheese, 3/4 Cups Shredded Med. Cheddar, 1/2 tsp. Season All Salt, 1/2 Cup Each, Diced Onion, Bell Peppers, 3/4 Cups Drained Crushed Pineapple, ( Can put in 1 cup pineapple) 1 Cup Chopped Pecans. Blend well, put on serving plate, shape as desired, and coat with finely chopped pecans. This is very much like Tammy's but with just the Cheddar and Season All Salt.

I have been making this cheese ball for 30 years, but my recipe calls for the cheese ball to be rolled in finely chopped pecans in addition to the ones in the ball itself. It is always the highlight of all our holiday get together.

I had this at a catered wedding reception in Knowville, TN and I almost died, it was so good!! That cheese ball had green onions in it and all the pecan pieces were around the outside. The combination of the cream cheese, green peppers, green onions, pineapple and pecans was out of this world!!

She can make food look so good even if it’s something I don’t think I like so much. Not a fan of cheeseball’s but Tammy might change my mind on this one! It has cream cheese which I love. So this might make me like it. 😋Love the mixer too!

I’m making this to take to my sister’s next week for Christmas. I might roll it in finely chopped pecans or pistachios. Looks delicious as always. Thanks Tammy!

I make this every year. I use seasoned salt instead of plain salt.
