Very cool idea! And the end result is absolutely fantastic. I love it! This kind of reminds me of the Brenizer method. Slightly different, but a similar result without needed the tilt shift lens.

Awesome results Joel, you are the master. I have this camera myself and love using it, I also own the Canon 5Ds which is mind blowing with its detail too but i just love using the EOS R.

Can someone tell me what are the various back ground textures that he is using. I see “glass plate”. Pretty much impossible to follow even at 0.25 speed. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing this clever tip. I've done this with landscapes but rarely have a model with the muscle memory to hold the exact position long enough to get the 3 exposures. She did a great job (and I love her unique look). I agree the R does make working with TSE lenses much simpler than with a traditional DSLR. There are many overlooked benefits to this camera that hybrid photographers would use if they just spend some time with it, but I have to admit the thing is still quite buggy. The latest firmware update was an improvement but it still needs more fixes.

nice work, but this one you can do with litteraly any camera and lens using the Brenizer method .. and save some money :) 2300$ eos R +2200$ 90mm tilt shift

If there will be a 35-40mm F1 fullframe lens, you would get about the same DOF in a single shot.

Not at all user friendly. 😔
Everything must be completely still to work and even the smallest movement on the stand destroys the picture. So this was no good advertisement for anything. ..not even a look at how the joints between the pictures became.
So a big thumb down from me.👎
