Issa Amro, a prominent Palestinian human rights defender, is our guide in a tour around Hebron/Al-Khalil Old Town - since 2017 inscribed by The World Heritage Committee on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The tour is a punch in your stomach.
Wrapped by local limestone that shaped a breath-taking old town (built between 1250 and 1517) and the site of Al mosque - Ibrahim/the tomb of the Patriarchs (this place is a site of pilgrimage for the three monotheistic religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam), step by step you discover an hidden truth: human rights violations, apartheid, segregation, military occupation and abuse of power are all around; every day, at every corner. Despite international law and justice, for native citizens (Palestinians) the situation is worsening every day…

Video premiered on 18th September 2019, at the event "Palestina: tu cosa ne sai?"
