That's what it's all about bud! That feeling right there is exactly what gets people hooked on hunting. Some people express it differently, but definitely don't be ashamed of how you do. That was pure joy and happiness right there!! Be proud of your accomplishments. That's a memory to cherish for life!

That’s what it’s all about man. It makes me happy to see someone get as happy as I do over anything I get with a bow. It’s so hard to get done with a bow and most people just don’t understand the obsession. Congratulations. Still waiting for my moment on a good buck this season

That was awesome!! You can see how physically and emotionally drained you were. All the hard work, patience and endurance paid off. Congrats!!!

Great series of videos, with great storytelling keeping the viewer engaged through the quiet periods. You kept it real throughout. I really liked the footage of that young buck “sneezing” in the first video of the series. Not sure I’ve ever seen anyone capture that up close. Very nice buck with exciting narrative and follow-up to cap things off. Nicely done — you earned a subscriber!

No need to apologize after all it takes to get to that point. So much grinding, it’s definitely unbelievable when it all comes together. Especially in the last few minutes. Biggest thing to take away from a hunt like that is “Never give up “! Congrats man

Congrats Jase! What an amazing buck! It can’t be overstated how exhausting those long rutcation hunts can be.

As a NY hunter who spends his vacations hunting the rut on Illinois leases, I can attest to the physical, emotional draining and the total mind fuck sitting in a tree 7-9 days and not punching your tag. Then, in a heartbeat your whole season can change. Gotta be ready! I keep telling myself I’m not in NY and I’m hunting the Midwest. Cause at any moment a giant can step out. Congrats on a dandy buck 🤟

I love bowhunting. My grandpa grew up in Iowa. As did my old man but they moved up to MN when my dad was in high school. Man the deer hunting stories ive heard from them. Some big bucks down there! My grandpa and his best buddy peach tried to kill off the side of the road with a .22. dropped it and when they walked up to it, it got up and ran away. There's big bucks and then there's Monster bucks! You can find the big ones in any thicket, marsh, or along a river but you'll find the monsters in IA lol. Nice buck!

Congratulations Jase. You don't need to apologize for raw emotion. Given the circumstances I would have lost my shit too. 👍Nobody can take that memory away.

How rewarding!! May you never lose that kind of excitement. That is why you grind it out right there. So happy for you & I am sure your friend was too.

Good video ! We have all been there with adrenaline overload in what we perceive to be the last pitch in the 9th inning and connecting for the fence. Enjoyed the end with the education on the Antlers. Not only do I enjoy a good video I love to be educated whenever possible. Case in point, "Great blood trail"...with my ABC broadhead...but in the excitement. Again great job

Good for you! We have all been there before. I went on a 0--15 skunk streak and on the 16th hunt I was sure it would end up like the other 15 and right about time I felt like heading in I took a really nice 9 point. My reaction was identical to your reaction. Its never over till its over. Proud of you and way to persevere.
