At this point, Ive spent more hours watching Kap ride like a badass on this channel, than I have riding my own damn motorcycles

Never knew the wizard was a baldy, must be all those years of getting jetting dialed in spot on with those 500s, left him with a dust cap, he is a true legend!!

All the appreciation of these bikes is an amazing thing. Keep these things alive, people. Brings a tear to my eyes…
I need to go watch On Any Sunday again.

Da Wizard knows what time it is! I had a 91 and it's best power ever on a 500smoker. Itll climb for days and never better bike made for cross country. Greatest power delivery ever period. She's a rippah Wizard

This Green Meanie KX500 just Blasted Through the Time Portal from 1991 and Arived 31 Years into The Present!, This 2Stroke Green Monster looks like it just Rolled off of The Kawasaki Assembly Line in Japan!Great Job by Kaplan America's Resident Wizard!!!

Takes me back to the good ole days. I miss early 90's 2 strokes. The day's of stanton, bradshaw, bale, ward, larocco I'm probably forgetting someone but I'm starting to get old.

Jeff Ward & Rickey Johnson (Honda) used to go head to head on 500cc. Amazing races!

Sweet! My old bike! Such a controllable throttle! I won the 1991ama amateur open class motocross series championship in Huetter, Idaho near Coeur d'Alene with that bike. It was a tight sandy loamy Supercross style track, pretty tight. All the other open class guys had a hell of a time. But not me, I weighted the crank with a Barnett steel clutch and put a gear reduction device on my clutch lever and rode the thing like a 125. I missed one wholeshot that season.
Thanks for the memories!

The few years when they had the blue anodized forks, they were the best suspended open bike available from the factory. Honda cought up with the forks for '96, and the shock in '97.

Wizard's got a nice KX500 sounds great! I rode my friends 2000 Kawasaki KX 125 it was in nice shape with a fresh top end rebuild. It was freakin' FAST!
