Your killing me dude! I'm working on my 89 KX 500 and had to pause on it for a few months. Everytime I look on YouTube here you are with another KX 500. SHIT! Kx500s are crazy, im still able to pull 3rd gear holeshots even with 15/42 gearing setup

Still have my yamaha 250 yz D .1978 had to stop racing . Oid and retired & disabled . Still riding minibike . Need to keep gasing it 😊 !!!

I had a kx500 with a ported cylinder and procircuit pipe. It hated getting very far from the truck. It's thirst was not even surpassed by my truck with a big double pumper holley feeding a 454 with a big cam. I ran out of gas ever time I rode it . Traded it for an 86 xr600. The kx was quicker but the xr could actually go on long rides in the New Mexico desert.

That pipe is a piece of work super long making sure the big kx gets its earth rotating torque out nice and early. That's pipe talk for us smokers .cheers Kaplan.
