I was almost 200lbs and pre diabetic! I've been thin all my life until I had 2 children. I also have some hormone issues that I'm on meds for. I'm 42 and have been exercising and eating better for the past 3 years. I've lost over 50 lbs, no longer on the verge of diabetes and I have muscles! It's been a journey for sure, having it's ups and downs and injuries I wasn't sure I could come back from but I'm still going! Exercise has been the best thing I've ever decided to do for my mental and physical health. 💪

Yes. Diabetes runs in my family. My mom had it when I was in the womb. My chances of survival weren't high, but the Lord saved me.

As a 14 year old girl with body image problems you are such an inspiration and I love watching your videos when I’m at tough points in my life :)

Healing your younger self is such a real and validating motivation. I used to be so afraid of getting bigger when now, i wanna feel like my strongest self. I know you’ve heard it a million times, but you constantly inspire me and redefine what it means to be “fit” in a way beyond the understanding of my teenage self. Sending gratitude ❤

This is so relatable it made me tear up a bit, my mum and grandma both have type 2 diabetes and I’m currently on a weight loss journey so I don’t end up getting it too, I started at 310 lbs and I’m at 249 now!💃🏻

Im type one diabetic. I was diagnosed when I was twelve, with a blood sugar of 570. The doctors said I would die or survive with brain and muscle damage. But, with Gods grace, I was healed, and here I am, two years later, perfectly fine, just living with diabetes. God is great, and he is most merciful ❤

I relate to breaking the generational cycle of diabetes. My family, mostly in my mother’s side, suffered from diabetes and I am trying to break it!
