I just replaced the outboard bearing on a pump identical to this in the demonstration. It's 4 years old. It runs 24/7 on a weekly rotation at a time. I have 4 of these pumps. We run 2 at a time. They get cycled in rotation. So it runs just one week at time. I replaced the outboard bearing for it was getting so hot and liquidfying the grease. It got noisy. I disassembled it. Bearing looked ok. Shaft was still like new. I replaced the bearing. I packed the new bearing with the poly grease called for. I assembled and pumped more grease into the bearing assembly as described in this video. The new bearing still runs hotter than should and grease still will liquidfy and run out. Bearing is running 173* F with a temp gun. What would continually cause this issue? My other 3 pumps don't have this problem. It just seems this one in particular. I'd appreciate a response on your thoughts. Thanks you.
