5:21 I actually discovered this myself since I knew + button would skip spectating, so I just tried doing it early because I thought you could do it as soon as you see the results. And you can! It’s just that the game doesn’t tell you to press + until the next round. Also I’ve found that holding + when you see the results works too. I don’t know how early you can do it, but a safe time is when it says “lose” and your character gets sad

I hate that you can't control the release, just because people are too stupid to not throw their remote, now we have to have automatic release. I could 100% strike in Wii Sports Bowling by curving the ball and using the same swing release. This one, I see my ball randomly hang on or drop early too much

I always go to the left of the middle then curve the ball right. I get a strike about 1/3 shots. Might try your technique to see if I get strikes more consistently

What I started doing is go to the right gutter change arrow direction a bit and I throw the ball straight, that way since the game thinks A spin a wrist in a 360 circle, it will get a strike

-Wish the ball released when the trigger button is released.
-The game is also less responsive when playing with 3-4 people on local co-op.
Hoping there will be an update with more sports (i.e., baseball, ping pong, pickle ball, darts, horseshoes, etc...)

As someone who used to play in an amateur ten-pin bowling league, your example of doing the split conversion is better suited when the gap is much wider. In your example, it’s better to put the ball in the gap to get the spare. PS I’ve just started playing the bowling game and watching videos to get tips because in real life, I need more time to setup and aim than the game gives me in competition.

Switch sports bowling is probably the worst possible mode they couldve done, they absolute ruined it compared to wii. I rotate my wrist to the point of physical pain and the ball barely spins this shit is fucking broken
