OK, THIS is How to Get Strikes in Switch Sports Bowling

This is a follow-up tutorial to my video the other day: how to get strikes in Switch Sports bowling. After initial testing and more detailed playthrough, I figured out (OK, it wasn't me) how to get a strike every time and bowl a perfect 300 game. Remember to hit LIKE if this helped you out.

I was watching this during an elimination game online, I started doing it after the second frame, and I won. I got strikes a lot of the time, but I also had to pick up some 1 pin spares

I found this technique quite efficient as well. I taught the same one to my grandma after she couldn't get a single strike while I went against her. Now she's getting every single strike and beating me at nearly every game! XD

Overall great tip, usually I get 1 pin spares but thats ok.

The same thing happened with my little sister… she’s 8 years old and she never played wii sports, she lined up her shot straight down the middle and ended up beating me in her first ever game…

Funniest thing is that this is my strategy in real life, and so long as I add a decent amount of power, i get strikes. Tried using the same exact strategy in switch sports and found out it was a sure way to get many strikes. Didn't know this was the best way possible. Thanks for the confidence boost 👍👍

I bowled a 300 on Wii Resort using an angle away from center and a nasty hook. Also, all the strikes were buried deep unlike some of the strikes here which are shallow and weak. It's about consistency guys. There's a million ways to bowl a strike.

I feel like the throwing system just feels different from Original Wii Sports, Resort, and Club. NSS just kinda feels like you throw and just hope it goes the way you want, so thanks for this.

A strategy that works for me is going just left of the middle arrow (so that the line guide is fully to the left of the arrow, no overlap). Go just right of the middle arrow if you're left handed. Then you let your character walk all the way to the end of the lane (press the trigger and pull back slowly and just let them keep walking until they stop). Then do a quick flicking motion (no full arm arc) as fast and as straight as possible (even doing a really informal double hand hold if you have to in order to keep the Joy Con from spinning). I got a perfect 300 game with this strategy and have been getting consistent Final Round plays on online bowling.

Just know speed counts. Going to fast is like poking straight through paper. Going to soft is without penetrating it. At just the right speed, you can snatch the paper out of your hand with the other. Same for speed hitting that sweet spot.

A lot of these have resulted in me going straight in the middle and getting a split. Causing no spares or strikes for me.

I found this on my own playing with my brothers and increased my record from about 200 to a 298. It is so simple yet works almost every time. So much easier to win online.

I played my 10 year old sister who has never held a remote before and she did this strategy. I usually bowl over 200 and she beat me easy. I can confirm, for some odd reason, this is the meta🤷🏼‍♂️

It works so well. My best is 237 after 5 games. My best before that was 193. Big improvement. I won 4 of the 5 and placed 3rd in the other.

What might be easier is to align it slightly to the left and throw naturally without trying to curve, and for me, it naturally curves to the right and hits the perfect spot

So a couple of months after this video came out there was an update that changed the bowling physics. According to Nintendo they basically hardcoded it so that the pins are easier to knock over when you curve and harder when you throw straight. The change isn't so dramatic that throwing straight is no longer viable but there actually is something to be gained by developing a curve technique now.

Thanks for posting this, I had tried your previous method and didn’t get strikes very commonly, but I just finished my first game where I used this method and I came third😁

Been using this method, started playing only three days ago, won 3 games in a row, all above 210+ points average and got enough points to finish the robot completion set today before it ended!

Edit: this method no longer works, like at all, thanks to the new update, but my new method is to go all the way to the end, 2 clicks opposite direction, then turn angle to face exact middle of the up most front pin. Has approximately 60% or higher chance or working

Wow this definitely works. I had been struggling with bowling out of all the sports and just bowled a 230 after only getting up to 150 before. Doesn’t make sense as a bowler but this technique works
