The year is finally over I'm so glad I discovered this channel in June 2019.
Pure Math II-73%(Real Analysis and Intro Topoly and Introductory Algebra)
Applied Mathematics II-80%(Nonlinear Dynamics and PDE'S) and I got 92%, and 94% respectively for first year Pure Math for 2019 and 2020 respectively with these results I believe I can get an MSc one day and in my uni Applied Math is very advanced since they offer topics like string theory so I'll definitely repeat some of those for future degrees....I'm so glad my 2019 applied math lecturer who was a from France and taught advanced Calculus in first year he pushed me to find someone who I could also potentially see myself in..as a black boy from a township I thank you so much...and I will use this chaneeld once more for Discrete Mathematics have a blessed festive season!!!

Thank you so much for your channel because of it I managed Statistics toughest course I ever took and I got a distinction for Linear Algebra, Proofs and Differential Equations!🥳🥳🤓😏

Thank you so much for your Ordinary Differential Equations videos with some Fourier Series I watched them last year during my free time and this year I got 96%!!for my Partial Differential Equations(which is a good foundation for further math) ...course since I could do the heat equation and fourier and I was top 3(84%) in my Applied math class ordinary ODE's and this is all possible thanks to a foundation layed in advanced Calculus videos without this channel I don't what would've happend now I'm confident that one day I might be a postgrad🤓thank you so much it feels good to use one proffesor for years ..

I just got my results Professor I got 76% first class Pass for PURE SO MUCH linear algebra and advanced Calculus videos I started watching them in 2019 THANK YOU SO MUCH I have the right foundation now!!!

I am also majoring in Applied Mathematics and I got a 100% for my Heat Equation Partial Differential Test and 104% for my Abstract Algebra test since I did your bridge to advanced Mathematics thank you so much hardwork pays have built my future calc 1-3 I will keep making you proud!!

Another update!!!well consistent updates motivate me and you should be used to them your a great profdesor I got a 101.3% i got a 100% for all tests my introductory class record as someone who's not too good at Analysis I'm grateful that thanks to the Bridge to Advanced Math vids I had a sufficient background to understand groups thank you so much without this channel I can't imagine what would've happend with me in terms of abstract math and discrete thinking 😭now I'm confident with taking the algebra route as long as I work hard!

When you studied math at CCNY were you originally planning on getting a PhD or a Master's? Also did you get a teaching assistantship while you were a graduate student?

Hi Jhevon, I have a math question that I can't find the solution for online. I'm trying to find a way to solve for x in the following equation:

-arctan(x/10) - arctan(x/100) = -120

I know that the solution is approximately 77, but I haven't found any way to solve it, and online calculators aren't giving the answer either. Initially I tried taking tan of all terms in the equation, but apparently that doesn't work.
