I've always been on team Germany for higher-end performance vehicles but test drove the Genesis GV70 (base) and was blown away at how impressive the ride and handling were...definitely seeing Genesis in my future. Awesome vid as usual gentlemen

THIS is how you do an EV. I own the regular Gas GV70 and it’s the perfect car. I don’t understand why so many manufacturers elect to push the envelope regarding EV car designs. If they just use the same glorified designs of their ICE counterparts, they don’t need to waste money in R&D fixing what isn’t broken.

The only complaint I have is probably the same as everybody else, range.

Just for Jakub, the Tesla white interior magically does not get dirty. I've had that interior for 3.5 years ... and it still looks new. We've spilled ketchup, drinks, a red pen leaked, I wear blue Levis, etc etc ... and I just wiped them down with a warm, damp towel .... and it all comes clean.

That interior is absolutely gorgi...such an amazing package...from exterior styling, interior (one of the best in the market), ride, handling, tech, warranty. The crew at Genesis are cleaning up right now..really impressive stuff

Absolutely love that car and my family instantly felt in love. My dealbreaker was the fact that for the UK market they 'forgot' to mirror the infotainment so the home/back buttons that in your version is just an inch away from your hand on the steering wheel, in the UK it's in the farthest away corner on the passenger side.

I am happy that you pointed out the rear wiper situation. The ioniq 5 is a car I would defenitely want to buy but the canadian weather would muddy up the rear glass instantly which could turn ou to be annoying

I’ve owned one for 3 weeks and it’s the favourite DD I’ve ever owned. At this point I’d never own an EV as a road trip vehicle but as a city car it’s perfect. It’s only charged at home so range isn’t an issue. No lumbar issues with us. Yuri is clearly a freak.

11:57 The transmission shifter and infotainment knobs definitely need to switch positions. You use the infotainment knob a lot more therefore it needs to be closer to you. Having the infotainment knob closer would also be better from an ergonomic perspective as well because you could rest your wrist on the edge of the armrest.

At 6:58, Automated Regen is also available when you press the Right paddle (minus) for about 2seconds.
When you do that car detects the car in front of you and Regen breaks for you. But it does it like BMW not like an AUDI electric cars, it doesn‘t come to a full stop. You need to use the break at the very end. Or you can use left paddle to come to a full stop.
