Your Tesla’s air filter needs to be changed after a while ⏳

Tesla suggests doing it every 2 years, but we think it is best to do it every year to keep the air circulating in the car as clean as possible 🦠

This is to prevent breathing in dust, pollen and other particles from outside pollution as much as possible.

Not recommended, as it can get wet in a carwash and heavy rain. Once wet, smelly mold will grow and go into the cabin.

Voids ac Warranty, restricted airflow to my system to the point it stop cooling the car. Gets wet and moldy and causes system to smell as well. When you take it to tesla they will say you used a 3rd party filter and void your warranty.

Where’d you get that one from? Only one I see in the tesla shop is the one that goes under the glove box.

That’s a bit pointless because water will be hitting that filter, allowing bacteria to grow.

I would not do this. Water gets under the hood of a Tesla very easily compared to other cars.

I open my 2022 M3 and don’t see an air filter at all. I believe that is just for air flow.
