be more responsible next time. if this ever happens again, separate the male from the female. She clearly did not want to mate and you just let it happen. Budgies who are too young to lay eggs could die. When she is ready, let them.

I have budgies and cockatiel and i clearly know the female was not ready. When a female is ready she stop all movement, duck, and take it without screeching but making a specific calm sound.

The hen very clearly didn’t want. Hens don’t squawk like that if it’s consensual, and that’s a very distressed squawk. She was clearly trying to buck the male off her back.
