Brother thank you so much.. Really grateful... I installed both prototype 1 & 2 and was facing crash and fps issues on my ROG ALLY.... This fix works for both games... I searched whole internet and by far this is the best fix out there....

it works. for THOSE who didn't work
1. put the exact directory folder in the code.
2. BE AWARE THAT THE Directory DOESN'T HAVE any spaces on it. like for example "Program files x86" have 3 spaces, MOVE the game to another folder without spaces between letters

Setting affinity for fewer cores doesn't work anymore, certainly because the CPU architecture has changed completely, especially since Gen 12th.

The fix helped me to start the game, but now it only gives me 60 fps when I was previously able to run it at 144hz by modifying the shortcut and adding a custom resolution (1440p) and frame rate, however, after this fix I can only play an 1080p @ 60fps. I mean, the fix for this video worked just fine, the issue now is the low res and having it capped at 60. :(

i just force my PC to boot with only 4 threads enabled. works with the first prototype aswell
