The Mana series AKA the Seiken Densetsu series has always been known for its bright, colorful visuals akin to children's fairy tales, and this new entry is no exception. Though I noticed that the combat and the graphical style are very reminiscent to Seiken Densetsu 3 (Trials of Mana) remake, which I'm fine with because the combat was pretty good. What I'm not really fine with is the English localization as, from the first glance, it borrowed a lot from Trials of Mana's official English translation which, in turn, relied too heavily on the outdated localization formula established by the original Secret of Mana and its ports/remasters - either because the nostalgia goggles are too thick, or they were being held back by the same "family-friendly policy" that robbed the original SoM of its more lore-accurate translation. Also, I'm gonna miss Shinichi Kameoka's character designs.

Actually, the rat is a bear of sorts. A Dudbear, which has been a thing since the PS1 Legend of Mana.

My first Mana game was Trials, didn't know it was a remake. It was pretty good. Definitely will get Visions.

The Mana series and the Tales series are so under-appreciated. This is probably my most anticipated game this year (unless Silk Song somehow miraculously gets a release date for this year)

Had fun with the demo. The only thing I found jarring is the 30 frame drop whenever a scene plays out. Still might end up buying since it won't be on game pass...

Looks a lot like Granblue Fnatasy Relink, that was my first JRPG (excluding ff) and o thought it was okay, not sure if I would try this maybe I'll give the demo a go

Played the demo and loved it. I really liked how the class changes worked. Trials of mana was great so i had faith, looking forward to full game!❤

To be fair you only see the chest in the map because you find a cactus dude in previous games you had to find more then one to unlock that perk so I'm hoping the altered it to one for the demo only

I’m currently playing through Secret of Mana and then Trials of Mana, before Trials leaves PS+ on the 20th, for the first time before Visions and it’s always fun diving into another RPG series!

Thank you for making this video! From what I've seen in trailers, Visions of Mana seems pretty interesting and just got hooked by it's concept nd mythos. I actually own Secrets of Mana, so I think I might give it a shot this Fall and hopefully get into the franchise! And hey! I share names with one of the Protagonists! Can you guess which?
