I'm happy to hear that the devs remain engaged and plan to remain engaged. That said, as long as they remain absolutely committed to community dependence on racing, I'll likely keep my distance. If and when they simply allow me to go to a race and... race it, I'll come back 🤷‍♂

I am really about the customization and something that really puts me off in nfs and also the crew is some cars for example would have 3 bumpers. 1 which is the stock, 2 being the exact same but carbon which honestly could be done with stickers and 3 being the only different one so you are left with 1 part

Imo they should separate each effect like it was before, so you could choose to have only tire smoke effect, or only wings effect.

I particularly liked the visual effects. I don't even know if I'm going to try to play without this new option because it might lessen the fun of the game. I would like them to make a ranking (regional and worldwide) of the best times per track for each car model

imo Nitro trail should be there just like wind trail in realistic style, its an ICONIC NFS trademark not just a cartoony effect...

I haven’t played this game since release due to a few reasons, I’m curious what the devs might be cooking for new years. Hopefully the future updates make me return.

They need to make it like they did back on heat offline and online there’s literally no point starting over online again after completing offline story mode that’s what killed it for almost everyone

It doesn't matter if you love the effect or not. Some people, not everyone, but a lot of people, find the effect distracting. In a game about driving at high speed where you have to maintain focus, those effects are very distracting, and overtime, they can be annoying.

Just add options to turn certain animations on/off like yellow nos, tags, animations, nos light trails, all the above, etc. And add the option to race against AI (with a buffed difficulty for maybe a higher reward) in the random online playlist to grind challenges then players will inherently race against each other kinda like a “quick race”. Simple

I love the effects but nice to know they're listening to the community. Also the exhaust flames have changed too

I understand there are a lot of people that enjoy the effects but I personally think it makes it like a child’s arcade racer. Imagine them doing this on GT 7 or Forza… completely takes away the racing/street racing vibe and makes it feel like I should pass the controller to a toddler lol just my opinion

The solution to this issue is simple why dont they just add a challenge mode with exclusive vehicles to use like in most wanted for example a time trial but with a traffic car or police car and the reward for completing the challenge is the vehicle you used in that challenge but of course make it accessible in both multiplayer and single player but you can only earn it in the challenge mode no were else and add a a proper drag race mode

I haven’t played unbound since March. The only way I will go back to it is if they add the solo grind feature to online. I wanna race by myself sometimes.

I definitely agree with ur take on letting the players decide how they want to play the game. Almost every feature should be toggle-able in a game. Unbound isn’t doing enough to bring me back, but I suppose it’s a step in the right direction. Now, if IVT can fix the mess they made in season 2 update, in Motorfest, by allowing u to toggle whether or not u want that stupid animation for rolling parts, rewinding, and most importantly, scraping parts to play out, I’m sure 99% of the community would love that change. Gaming devs remember this, matter of fact everyone remember this, DON’T FIX WHAT AINT BROKE FFS 🤦‍♂️😪

I hope more people play this game. Yes, there are some cons but still far better experience than Heat and online multiplayer is literally so good
