NFS Unbound Vol. 9 - Before You Buy

Need for Speed: Unbound (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S) has recently received the "Vol. 9" update. Let's revisit the game.

Racer X is Razor from the old 2005 Most wanted. It makes sense with how much he talks lol, and the actual Razor actor did work with them. Also for anyone that's going to try it out. The only vehicles that you can actually keep for non lockdown use are the jacked vehicles from the lockup, sadly we can't keep the bike for freeroam online and pvp and the normal ones you find around the city. My tip, stay as late as you can. Good luck racers!

I LOVE that you’re giving this light. The extraction mode in Volume 9 is really fun. One of the best things NFS has ever gotten

Nobody is giving the wraps in this game enough credit they look better than any other nfs game the cars look crisp and the reflections are amazing

I've played a little bit of it, but the cop chases really pressure you into finishing them as soon as you can. I remember in the original Most Wanted how you could just go round in circles on the Highway and not feel pressured to actually end the chase until you actually needed to.

Fun fact for those who played the original Most Wanted but haven't checked out Lockdown as of yet. Racer X is actually Razor. Neat to hear him again. Tips for players who haven't played lockdown as yet. Stay late if you can't find a bike but have collected $100 000 you can pay Razor to open a lockup there's always around $50 000 to $60 000 in the lockup so you can easily make that money back. If you can: extract with the bike, if you keep your extraction streak up to the point where you have load into a game of lockdown using S+ vehicles. If you extracted the bike in a previous run you can use it.

4:52 tip don't gps everywhere. All modern nfs the cops tap in to your route... Just learn the map and the cops shouldnt surprise ya

I am absolutely loving the new Lockdown mode. I wouldn't mind seeing this in a future title.

They released this game for free with ps plus premium for a couple of months so I played the whole story and was completing the side quests with all collectibles to get the platinum and suddenly they pulled it out of ps plus and decided to sell it for $80. This pissed me off cuz they didn’t have a great player base, but gained a lot of new players from ps plus and decided to sell it full price again so I never payed for it and never completed my trophy hunt.

Regarding Racer X voice being annoying, it does kinda get repetitive. However, it is confirmed that Racer X is Razor from MW'05, with Derek Hamilton the original actor voicing him.

As a former racing games fan, i apreciate this "Before you buy". I didn't realize this game was this good because kinda ignore racing games due to most of them being a failure. I think i'll give it a shot!

Jake! Dialogues are 2 YEARS OLD. This Before you buy should be about Kaizen's updates, underground, hot pursuit, MOST WANTED "DLC" Updates, because it's such a different game than last year's and two years ago's game.
