To dismantle the patriarchy, you would need men to compel other men to submit to women's authority. However, this is inherently contradictory because men hold a monopoly on force. If this were not the case, the women of Afghanistan, for example, would have already overthrown their oppressors.

The women's rights movement ultimately relied on men to enforce women's demands. Women's rights exist not because they were seized through force, but because men, driven by empathy, chose to recognize and uphold them.

Violence is inescapable because all laws and order depend on it. When a criminal breaks the law, force is used to arrest him, bring him to court, and imprison him if convicted.

Patriarchy is not inherently evil; it is simply inevitable. Women cannot enforce their rights alone—they rely on men to do so.

This does not mean men are superior to women, any more than hands are superior to feet. Rather, men and women are fundamentally different. Instead of resisting these differences, we should embrace them and strive for harmony rather than competition.

Patriarchy comes from the word "Pater" latin for Father.
So, the Father is at the top as leader of the household, The Mother follows along as the support for his plans.
The children just do as they are told (Not always though)

What about the systemic issues affectig men like unfair divorce settlements, exclusion in college campuses, higher rates of depression and suicide, workplace deaths and homelessness? What about the fact that one allegation that even proven false could ruin a man’s life? Or that women get shorter sentences for equivalent crimes? That there are extremely limited resources for men who experience domestic violence? Men don’t even get full reproductive rights because in California if a woman claims a man is the father of her child he will have to pay child support, even if he’s a young adult! If you see this comment I would be interested to see a video elaborating on how these issues are part of a ‘patriarchy’ in which men apparently control every aspect of society and terrorise women. I hope you change your opinion.

No. The answer is not deconstructing men’s leadership but rather teach them how to be proper leaders. We need more patriarchy not less.

I think the problem is capitalism and patriarchy. But we understand the problems with each system and we also see that they go hand in hand I find it more productive to look at it in the modern day as most of our problems are caused by capitalism which was and is a product of patriarchy. If you can't really get rid of one without the other but I find it more productive to center the discussion on ending capitalism which would ultimately render patriarchy useless.

When we don’t confine men into this stereotypical macho characteristics which patriarchy does and let men embrace who they are inherently. You’re far smarter than the trolls in these comments. Many countries have done well led by women such as Finland. Scandinavia which is more egalitarian offers wealthier, healthier lifestyles than countries that submit more to archaic norms.

You have to show how it negatively effects men. Patriarchy doesn't benefit men or women. Men keep talking about how much they've built, but men were created to build(among many other things). So whether we live in patriarchy or not, building would still be their job.
