Fluid Mechanics Lesson Series - Lesson 13B: Laminar Flat Plate Boundary Layer.

In this 14-minute video, Professor Cimbala walks the viewer through the step-by-step boundary layer procedure for solving boundary layer problems. He illustrates this procedure by working through the simplest possible boundary layer flow: the laminar flat plate boundary layer, also called the Blasius solution. Finally, using this solution, he calculates other quantities of interest such as boundary layer thickness and skin friction drag coefficient; these equations are applied to a practical example problem.

This video incorporates material from Section 10-6 of the Fluid Mechanics textbook by Cengel and Cimbala, Edition 4.
