I have a GMT watch for tracking time in our offshore office. Thing is, I already do the conversion in my head when I see any other clocks, and I finally admited to myself that I only got one because it was cool lol.

My daily is a GMT. my kid lives on lives on the east coast, and it’s very very cool to know what time it is in accordance with their time. I have 4 watches, the one that gives me the time difference between me and my favorite person is so very valuable to me.

“Right, I have a GMT watch that has a separate subdial for the other GMT time zone tracking.”
“But I need another one with the bezel and the 4th hand! That’ll finish the collection!!!”
“Ohhh but now I’ve got this, this one with an internal bezel and second crown is better. Let’s get one too!”
“Okay, I have 3. That’s enough for my 16 watch collection. I don’t have one with this overly specific movement and specific design!”

I travel a lot between different countries and continents. A GMT is essential for travel. Plus they look great!

True, tracking a different time zone for most people is useless but for a pilot its extremely helpful since every takeoff and landing is tracked in ZULU time (same as GMT). So its nice to have local time and ZULU so you dont get them mixed up when crossing multiple timezones

I use a GMT because I travel a lot. I only have 1 because I only need 1. When I travel to places like Scotland or Rome to see family, they come in handy when I have meetings with people.

I have a CASIO GMT and its Dual Time with a small dial face that can be switched around (local to international)by the press of a button. Amazing watch !

To me, it's very useful to be able to track multiple timezones as I usually deal with clients all over the world, and at the same useful to track the times of family or friends who are traveling or are from other countries to make calls/coordinate for games etc.

This is why I love my Casio AE-1200

I bought my Mido Ocean Star in Auckland while visiting my sisters, my excuse to myself was so I know when to call my family in the States. Then I used it to track time when my parents went on vacation in Asia and NZ. It's benefited me twice in a year!!!!
