I have a fond memory of being on a balcony of my hotel room. It's raining. I'm reading. I have some kind of beverage on the little table by me. I'm relaxed. My view is the beach. One of my best vacation memories even though it rained most of the time.

I have read The In honeymooners and People You Meet on Vacation and they were both great books. I'd love to read The Last Mrs Parrish now too, that sounds so very good! I hope you and your family have a fun, safe trip and a great vacation! 😊

I loved The Unhoneymooners and The Last Mrs. Parrish. I loved TLMP so much I picked up The Wife Stalker and that was just as good! I have One to Watch and People We Meet on Vacation to read still. I read Night Swim - liked it but didn't love it.

When I was younger, I used to read in the car on trips to my uncles place who lived 4 hours away. I am going away next week for 4 days and plan on reading lots.

Great suggestions! I have read and really enjoyed all of these except The Last Mrs. Parrish. It sounds like it needs to go on my long, long list. I totally agree about listening to The Night Swim. It begs to be listened to! I have read on trips since I was a child. I did read Children of Blood and Bone on a trip and I remember that since it was such a great and moving book.
